Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Youngstown. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Ohio are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Youngstown is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Youngstown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Got a cake that we asked to be decorated, we were not informed of any potential issues when placing the order. Picked up the cake with just plain writing on it, no decoration, and we felt like we were rushed out of the store. We called to see what happened and the manager came up with excuses and said she communicated issues with the icing choice when the order was placed (it was not, we would have changed the icing type). Then proceeded to blame her decorators, saying they were going to design something then opted not to, and was only able to offer a half hearted apology for not communicating changes.

Definitely worth the stop! Food is amazing! Prices are very reasonable. Their raspberry cupcakes are the best! Highly recommended! Friendly employees as well!!

They don't answer the phone, and when they do they are either rude or don't know what they are doing. The quality went drastically downhill with the new owners. Out of 8 calls i got a total of 3 times someone answered. Also, the new owner told me I was wrong about then changing the process is for orders over the phone. They now charge at the time the order is placed, it used to be when you picked up the order you were charged. Will NOT be going back. Out of 3 cakes, only one had decent writing.

The cake I asked for and was assured it would have that exact topper on it, and then the cake I got a edible cookie image, the cookie was dry. Just another example this would be my 5th cake I ordered that it is never either what i asked for or a slight difference and always get the same answer well we ran out of that specific decoration or icing. Could have at least called and let me know because I would have said leave the cookie off. I pre-ordered this way way before Christmas. Just tired of having them decorate how they want to. The women wouldn't even allow me tohave a double layer cake option for any size she said no no you pick only one flavor.

Stepping into The Classic Bakery for the first time today, I was immediately greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked cookies and pastries. The bakery itself is a comfortable size, not too cramped, and has a clear policy: no cell phones while being served. You're expected to put your phone away until your transaction is complete, which is a bit old-school but understandable. I had hoped to grab an apple turnover, but encountered a slight snag. The bakery has a $5 minimum for credit or debit card purchases, meaning cash is your only option for smaller buys. As someone who rarely carries cash, this was a bit inconvenient for me. Ultimately, I opted for a dozen cookies. While they were absolutely delicious, the $8 price tag felt a bit steep for a dozen. Despite the minor inconveniences with the card minimum and the cookie price, I would definitely return to The Classic Bakery. The quality of the baked goods is certainly a draw.
